Our Sixth Form

Welcome to Dunraven (SL6) Sixth Form where over 230 students study a wide range of subjects to achieve AS/A2, GCE Applied and BTEC qualifications.

Our Sixth Form is an inclusive community which continues to have an excellent reputation attracting a huge diversity of talented young people. In May 2009 Ofsted judged Dunraven Sixth Form to be ‘outstanding’; the highest category of achievement.

We are confident in our ability to support students in fulfilling their potential across a range of subjects and to educate the ‘whole person’ through our comprehensive enrichment and extra-curricular activities.

The Sixth Form experience at Dunraven is exciting and challenging. Our aim is to give all the students the best opportunity to begin their post-compulsory education in an environment that offers structure but at the same time allows students to take responsibility for their learning.

If you join us, you will be given the support, advice and guidance that you need to succeed. You will be a part of a tutor group with a personal tutor to advise you, helping you to plan your goals and meet your learning targets.
You will benefit from being educated by a dedicated team of professionals. Staff and students work together in pleasant surroundings with excellent facilities. This combination ensures that we continue to deliver on our mission statement providing: Excellence for All.
